Peek A Boo

While we were all playing in the living room this morning Judson found a burp rag on the floor and decided it would be fun to play peek a boo. I was so excited that I was able to catch some pictures of the process. He was so happy with himself. He loves to play peek a boo, but today her totally initiated it and keep it going. I just had to say the words and just laugh at his cute little face!!

But it was not to much later that he discovered that I had the camera out and crawled over to explore that more closely. He kept grabbing the lens cap.

11 Months old!!!

Judson loves to climb our stairs. He gets so excited to go down stairs and play, because we do not spend a lot of time down there. But it does not take long for him to become uninterested because there are not many toys down there. So he decided to make a break for the stairs. He is getting very quick at them. He just laughs all the way up, he is so proud of himself.

He also loves to stand at the top of the stairs and wiggle the gate. We do not prefer this, as we do not want the gate to give out, but he LOVES it. So is constantly crawling back over to do it again. Speaking of this that he does again... he will not leave the TV in the playroom alone now that he knows how to turn it on and change the channel and volume. It is really quite annoying!! And he is having trouble responding to NO. He either laughs and does it again, or crys then does it again. But it is something we need to work on for sure! I can see a strong willed child growing before us.

We bought him a push toy. He loves it. He is getting really fast with it too. He can even get himself to a stand with out it rolling away from him now. He is so proud to be up walking around with the girls. Some times he just watches them as if thinking "wow how are they doing that". So with the push toy he is a little closer to equal with them. He has started to stand with out holding on. It is for just a short burst of time, but it is lengthening. He also has take a step here or there. But more recently he just wants to crawl. If we try to get him to walk he just sits down or crawls away quickly.

This is part of a lunch box thing that is with the play toys. I put it on his head the other day and he would take it off and laugh, then I would put it back on. Then one of the time he pulled down instead of up and it got stuck around his neck. He did not mind to much, but for sure wanted it off.

So yes, our little boy is already 11 months old. The time has flown by and this next month, I am, will go in super speed. He is now 20 pounds 7 ounces. His top teeth are very close to coming in, well they feel close but could take forever still.
