Jabbering Judson

We just wanted to share a fun video of Judson jabbering away. He is so much fun! He is "talking" all the time.

Playdate

Judson and I went over to my friend Katie's house yesterday to hang out with her and her daughter Ellie. Ellie is the baby that I watch during the school year. It was so much fun to see them and to be able to talk with Katie. Ellie is getting so BIG!! She is a week younger than Judson and out weighs him now.

While we were there I decided to try Judson in Ellie's exasaucer. We have one for him we just have not gotten it out yet, but may need to. He really enjoys standing up and this would be a great way for him to stand and for me to still be able to get some work done.

Ellie is teething, she has actually already had one tooth break through and there is another not far behind. She loved to suck on Judson's feet, he also liked it and kept putting his feet in her mouth. It was so funny to watch.

They were so funny to watch!! They kept watching each other, grabbing at each other and rolling all over to get closer to each other. It was a very fun morning. I have loved having my summer to just spend with Judson, but I do miss Ellie and look forward to having her back!!

5 years to long

My friend Christy was back in the area for her high school reunion and I was able to meet her in York for supper. It was so great to see her. It has been 5 years since we have seen each other!! WAY WAY TO LONG!! We went to college together and were house mates one year. She is an amazing girl and I love her so much!! I wish that Burns, Oregon was not so far away.

4 months old

Judson is 4 months old!! he turned 4 months on July 5th.
(I know, I know, this post is a little late. Things have just been busy around here)
Right around turning 4 months he started rolling over. Up until then he had rolled over randomly and I think just accidentally. He now rolls over all the time. He does not mind being on his stomach for awhile but starts to fuss after awhile. Also every time I get him up in the morning or from a nap he is usually on his stomach. He also moves around so much now that he is vertical in his bed instead of horizontal. He often has his feet sticking out of the bars too. I just can not believe Judson is 4 months old already!! He has been such a joy and we love all the great things he does every day and all the ways he is developing and changing all the time.

Busy Busy Busy

We had some bad siding on our house that needed to be fixed. You could pull it off the house by hand, it really was not good. We thought there would only be a few boards to fix but it ended up being the entire height and width of the chimney. Thankfully Nate's mom and grandpa were able to come and help, we could not have done it without them!! There was a lot to do and it took the three of them Friday night, Saturday and Sunday to get it finished. But the house looks so great now!!

Kristin's Visit

A good friend of ours (Kristin Mathews) was able to visit us this week. She has been living in California for the last two and was able to come back to see us. It was a good visit though it was very busy. There were many people to see while she was here!

Thank you for coming Kristin and I hope that it is not two years before we see each other again! :

He is three months old already!! The time has gone so fast, but it is hard to think of our lives with out Judson. He is smiling all the time, though it is hard to catch a smile in a picture!! He is also very close to giggling. He will do it every once in awhile, but not consistently. Judson loves to coo and talk, he loves it when he is talked to also. He loves to be around people and see what is going on. He can not sit up on his own but he really tires. He loves to watch everything that is going on around him.
