Playing in the leaves

These are a few of the pictures that we took of Judson playing in the leaves. If you have facebook you can see all the pictures we took.
He loved playing in the leaves. It will be super fun to see how he reacts to snow, though I am in no hurry at all!!

Dog sitting

Friends of ours are out of town so we have their dog for the weekend. Judson is having so much fun! Darby, the dog, is really a great dog and so calm with Judson!
If we forget to latch the cage it does not take long before Judson realizes and crawls in.

Happy Halloween

These are ghosts that we made. Ellie's, Ashlynn's and Juson's.

We missed our trunk or treat this year and I am super super bummed about that but here are a few pictures of Judson in his costume.

Kansas City

Judson got a new toy from Aunt Alyssa and Uncle Nolan, he LOVES it!!

At the hotel before the game we went swimming. This is Judson's first time to go swimming. He seemed to like it ok, but the water was not very warm.

For part of the game he sat on the ground at my feet and just played toys. It lasted for awhile but then he wanted to be more apart of the action. He did pretty well at the game considering that it was a little chilly and it was way past his bed time. And he had already had a messed up nap schedule because of traveling.

It was a fun trip and the Wizards didn't loose! 2-2

I forgot to add...

When I was dong that last post I forgot to say that Judson is over 17 pounds now!!! He has really caught up to where he needs to be. He is still just in the 50th percentile so not to big, but has gained so much weight!!

Catching Up

October 10th, Judson's first York Homecoming and first snow.
I was not excited to wake up to this and know we were going to be watching
a soccer game, but it melted and got pretty nice in the afternoon.

Sam and Laura were able to come for the weekend and Judson had so much fun with them!!

We had lent out our Johnny Jumper and have gotten it back. Judson loves to play in it.

He is getting much better at crawling, though it is still more of a scoot. He is really good about crawling over things. So far not to many obstacles for him.

He has had yet another black eye!! He was standing up and holding on to a floor gym and leaned to far back and pulled it right over with him. It hit the bridge of his nose leaving a bruise across and cut his right eye also leaving a bruise.

Well I have taken on another child to watch. A little girl. She is 2 but will be 3 in December. She is a lot of fun. It is nice to have someone to talk to during the day. But I know that I hear "what are you doing", "why", and "what happened" about 100 times a day!!! So that is something to get used to. It is also much different because she does not nap. It is fun to do projects with her and to play games with her. But I never get a break. We will be working on some kind of rest time. But it is just her first week and I know she is already nervous if I am away from her to long, even just to be with one of the babies. God is good though and it has been a huge blessing. Nice to have extra money and nice that she is such a good girl.

7 Months Old

He loves to scoot all over. He had started out in the living room and was following Ellie around and ended up under the table. He thought that was pretty great.

Starting to get up on hands and knees.

Here he actually did get up. But for now that is all he can do. He gets up, holds if for awhile, smiles because he is so proud and then flops down.

I do not know if you can tell from this picture but his hair has really grown!!
He also loves to chew on his frozen frog teether!

Well I do not know where the time has gone but Judson is already 7 months old. He is getting to be so much fun. He loves to watch the world around him and what everyone is up to. As he is better at moving he is also excited about exploring the world around him. It is so much fun to watch the changes that happen even on a daily basis.

He is doing great at eating solid food and has become a lot less spitty. That has been a wonderful part of him growing up!! I actually can go a week before I have to do laundry now. I was having to do it every two to three days. I am making baby food and that has been an adventure. But it seems to be going well and Judson does not seems to mind my cooking so far. He has been introduced to peas, broccoli, green beans, zucchini, carrots, sweet potatoes, corn, yellow squash, apples, banana and just to day cantaloupe. He likes orange veggies the best so far and like all the fruit so far. Today for lunch he ate two servings of sweet potatoes and a bowl of oatmeal. (for him a serving is three ice cubes worth) I am not sure what he weighs now, but as of two weeks ago he was 15 8, so he is doing his best to catch up!!

His newest trick

I do not know why this last picture did this. I took it just like the other ones but the computer just kept turning it so I gave up and posted it anyway.

So I was giving Judson a bath tonight and he decided that he was ready to get out I guess. He sat up in his tub, which we sit in the bathtub, grabbed the side of his tub to get to his knees and then grabbed the side of the bathtub and stood up. He is changing and growing so much everyday. It is so much fun to be with him and to watch him explore so many new things and learn so many things all the time.

I guess that we will have to make sure that his tub is against the back wall of the bathtub from now on when we give him a bath.
