Thanks Phifer Family

Kortney and I with the three kids

Our good friends Tom and Kortney were able to visit us on Monday and Tuesday. They live in Alabama but are in the Midwest to visit family for Christmas. They were super sweet and fit us into the crazy traveling that they are doing!! We had never met their little girl Tinzley and they had not yet met Judson so it was extra fun to get together. They also have a little boy Jonas ,that we had not seen in a year and a half, that has grown so much and kept us all entertained!

TEETH!!

Oh my goodness!! How did I forget to say that Judson has two teeth!! Just before he turned 9 months old they finally cut though. They are now up where they can be seen!!

Sorry, this picture was taken while I was feeding him lunch. So don't mind the food on his face or the crazy bib!! Just focus on the super cute kid and the two teeth. :)

9 months

Judson turned 9 months on December 5th. I took many pictures of him, but something happend with our camera over Thanksgiving and now none of the pictures that are there will show up when I load them to the computer. So that is why I have not posted anything in awhile. I like to read what people post but I love to see the pictures.

Anyway... Judson is now 19 pounds 5 ounces. He has gained a lot of weight since we were in for his 6 month appointment but he is still only at the 25 percentile. I am okay with that though. He gets heavy enough to carry around! :) His personality is really starting to shine. He loves to play with blocks, especially to know a tower over. But he will almost always pull the tub of blocks off the shelf when we are playing, he just loves them. He is crawling very well and is pulling to a stand on everything. He is also starting to enjoy walking while someone is holding his hands. He is into everything and we have had to put latches on some of the cabinets in the kitchen. He found he could get to the cookie sheets and would pull them all out and I was getting tired of washing them all the time! Judson is also getting very good at stairs. He loves to climb up on things and this has made him very good at climbing up the stairs. We were even at a friends house last night to let their dog out and they have hard wood floors and steps and Judson could even climb up them with no problem at all. I just can not believe how big/grown up he is getting already. We are loving every minute of it though!! It is so much fun to watch him make connections and learn so much everyday!!

I hope we can figure out what is wrong with the camera/card so that I can post the pictures I have saved up soon.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

These are cookies that the kids and I made on Tuesday! So much fun, but a lot of work with two eight month olds and an almost three year old. These are actually a print of Ellie's hand.

Hanging out with Grandpa Dan and Daddy.

Playing with Grandma Carol.

New bib that Grandma Dee and Grandpa Roger got for Judson. "My family is thankful for ME"

We have had a great Holiday. Nate's parents are here and so is his grandpa. My parents are here too. Judson has loved having so much attention and someone to always play with!

Already 8 months old

Judson turned 8 months old on Thursday the 5th. He has grown and changed so much over these eight months!! He is now crawling as well as scooting. He will crawl for awhile and then be back to a scoot. He is just not quite strong enough to crawl all the time. He is getting there though and is crawling more and more every day. He loves to crawl over things. Such as this basket. He is also pulling up on anything that he can... chairs, the couch, the highchair, the side of the bed, his dresser drawers (which he has learned to also open up), my legs... really anything. And he is getting pretty good with walking along things too. He is best at the couch, but it is also the place he can hold onto the best and for the longest time.

He has done really well with the time change. He is still sleeping until 7 just like he was before. So that has been super great!! He is still growing for sure. He now weighs 18 lbs. and 2 oz. and is starting to get rolls in his arms and has a belly too. It is fun to see him pudge out a little. He is still pretty slim, but is a little more rolly like a baby should be.

This is how I am greated when I get him up from his naps. Now that he can pull up he loves to stand there and just jabber and walk along his crib while he waits for me. It is so much fun to see his bright smile when I go it to get him.

Playing in the leaves

These are a few of the pictures that we took of Judson playing in the leaves. If you have facebook you can see all the pictures we took.
He loved playing in the leaves. It will be super fun to see how he reacts to snow, though I am in no hurry at all!!

Dog sitting

Friends of ours are out of town so we have their dog for the weekend. Judson is having so much fun! Darby, the dog, is really a great dog and so calm with Judson!
If we forget to latch the cage it does not take long before Judson realizes and crawls in.

Happy Halloween

These are ghosts that we made. Ellie's, Ashlynn's and Juson's.

We missed our trunk or treat this year and I am super super bummed about that but here are a few pictures of Judson in his costume.

Kansas City

Judson got a new toy from Aunt Alyssa and Uncle Nolan, he LOVES it!!

At the hotel before the game we went swimming. This is Judson's first time to go swimming. He seemed to like it ok, but the water was not very warm.

For part of the game he sat on the ground at my feet and just played toys. It lasted for awhile but then he wanted to be more apart of the action. He did pretty well at the game considering that it was a little chilly and it was way past his bed time. And he had already had a messed up nap schedule because of traveling.

It was a fun trip and the Wizards didn't loose! 2-2

I forgot to add...

When I was dong that last post I forgot to say that Judson is over 17 pounds now!!! He has really caught up to where he needs to be. He is still just in the 50th percentile so not to big, but has gained so much weight!!

Catching Up

October 10th, Judson's first York Homecoming and first snow.
I was not excited to wake up to this and know we were going to be watching
a soccer game, but it melted and got pretty nice in the afternoon.

Sam and Laura were able to come for the weekend and Judson had so much fun with them!!

We had lent out our Johnny Jumper and have gotten it back. Judson loves to play in it.

He is getting much better at crawling, though it is still more of a scoot. He is really good about crawling over things. So far not to many obstacles for him.

He has had yet another black eye!! He was standing up and holding on to a floor gym and leaned to far back and pulled it right over with him. It hit the bridge of his nose leaving a bruise across and cut his right eye also leaving a bruise.

Well I have taken on another child to watch. A little girl. She is 2 but will be 3 in December. She is a lot of fun. It is nice to have someone to talk to during the day. But I know that I hear "what are you doing", "why", and "what happened" about 100 times a day!!! So that is something to get used to. It is also much different because she does not nap. It is fun to do projects with her and to play games with her. But I never get a break. We will be working on some kind of rest time. But it is just her first week and I know she is already nervous if I am away from her to long, even just to be with one of the babies. God is good though and it has been a huge blessing. Nice to have extra money and nice that she is such a good girl.

7 Months Old

He loves to scoot all over. He had started out in the living room and was following Ellie around and ended up under the table. He thought that was pretty great.

Starting to get up on hands and knees.

Here he actually did get up. But for now that is all he can do. He gets up, holds if for awhile, smiles because he is so proud and then flops down.

I do not know if you can tell from this picture but his hair has really grown!!
He also loves to chew on his frozen frog teether!

Well I do not know where the time has gone but Judson is already 7 months old. He is getting to be so much fun. He loves to watch the world around him and what everyone is up to. As he is better at moving he is also excited about exploring the world around him. It is so much fun to watch the changes that happen even on a daily basis.

He is doing great at eating solid food and has become a lot less spitty. That has been a wonderful part of him growing up!! I actually can go a week before I have to do laundry now. I was having to do it every two to three days. I am making baby food and that has been an adventure. But it seems to be going well and Judson does not seems to mind my cooking so far. He has been introduced to peas, broccoli, green beans, zucchini, carrots, sweet potatoes, corn, yellow squash, apples, banana and just to day cantaloupe. He likes orange veggies the best so far and like all the fruit so far. Today for lunch he ate two servings of sweet potatoes and a bowl of oatmeal. (for him a serving is three ice cubes worth) I am not sure what he weighs now, but as of two weeks ago he was 15 8, so he is doing his best to catch up!!

His newest trick

I do not know why this last picture did this. I took it just like the other ones but the computer just kept turning it so I gave up and posted it anyway.

So I was giving Judson a bath tonight and he decided that he was ready to get out I guess. He sat up in his tub, which we sit in the bathtub, grabbed the side of his tub to get to his knees and then grabbed the side of the bathtub and stood up. He is changing and growing so much everyday. It is so much fun to be with him and to watch him explore so many new things and learn so many things all the time.

I guess that we will have to make sure that his tub is against the back wall of the bathtub from now on when we give him a bath.
